Archived am i ok?

so yesterday i had a backroom day shift BUT i was given the ok by my ETL, and my TL to take the day off due to a personal reason, i even talked to my ETL in person about the issue that i had and they said not to worry about it and just take the day off. so my question is, should i still call in? or should i be ok? i never call out or take days off like this so i dont really know.

Since you talked to them personally you should be fine. I had this situation recently with a death in the family. I am away at school and had to go home one weekend and talked to my STL and ETL. They said to take the time I needed and they would take care of the rest, I never called in and never got talked to when I returned!

No worries. That is a sign of a good boss. You told them in advance & honestly, is a big plus.
