Archived Amount of time for TL training?

Random question. I am curious to see the answers everyone gives.

In your opinion how much training should each new team leader receive before beginning their new role? Both in store and out of store? I'm assuming its different for something like backroom compared to ap.

One week, three weeks, six weeks? In store for most of it? (Assuming the previous tl hasn't left yet) Out of store for most of it? (If there is no previous TL)

depends on the position and caliber of tl you're training with.

i got 1.5 hours for presentation with the tl and was told my team would help me figure it out. the good thing about it was that i didn't pick up his bad habits because i was clueless and had to read every best practice known to man. our process is "spot" on for the most part.

most folks they send to me get a week with presentation, then a week of pricing too if they're the combo position.
i had one store that had not been green in 2 years. she got to stay 2 weeks, then i followed up with her and her etl biweekly, and now monthly.
