Archived Anyone know what orange stickers on electronics are?

Had a guest that was quite upset that she had a sticker on some AirPods she ordered online, said they probably meant they were defective. Me being a paper dbo, I had no clue what she was talking about lol.

Probably was just one of these. We use them to write the last four of the dpci on apple products.

We do something like this at our store. The AP team does it i think to make it easy to keep track of the apple products at a glance in the stockroom.

If the item was defected out, it wouldn't have an orange sticker on it, it would have had a white label with CRC printed in the top left corner.
