I think its still a bit early to tell. While I agree Target is behind the times, I think many outsiders do not realize how bad it was when he took over. Gregg ran the entire thing into the ground and (from my perspective) was one of the worst things to happen to the company. While innovation and strategy was needed, Gregg focused on the complete wrong things. He talked about service without a way to improve it. He put us into places we should not have gone so heavily (Canada and Grocery) and then handed the reigns over.
I think the right things are on Brian's radar, but it takes time. We have not made serious improvements to our supply chain model in at least two decades for example.
