Any one know what the tipp number is to order just the circuit board part for the camera post. The last ones I had ordered only have the phone line thing. But our boat doesn't have that type of connection. It is the older version. My store opened in October 2005.

I thought stores were getting retrofits this year to all have the "Universal" type mounting posts with the phone line connection? I JUST read something today about stores being asked to toss "legacy" type connections, which I'm assuming is what yours is.

Also, on this general topic, does anyone know what the toss/keep policy on the power cables is? I could only find the cable list from April so it's not the most current, but I'm assuming that if a cable isn't listed on there, to toss it? My Electronics guy has a HUGE box full of the damn things from ever since we opened - I'm thinking some of those bad boys can be tossed.

I believe that since they did the retrofits, you have to order the whole post. I had my team toss all the cables we didn't need today. We usually get new ones for cameras if we need them anyways

Any one know the tipp number for the whole post with the circuit boards? I actually ordered several new posts. But they ones I got didn't have the circuit boards.

Do a search for "Hybrid Post" and it should come up, item is $120.00 for the whole unit.

I do all the camera revisions at my store, and I keep every single power cable. I have them organized with some other camera hardware in a box in the ele. stockroom by the type of the connection or the brand of the camera they are for. All in nice little sandwich bags. Every time I set the cameras, I never get the right cables in. This time, I was only short one, but that is the exception at my store. Somehow the cables always wind up with someone other than me (even tho I'm usually the only one who touches them). This time around I found new cables stashed under the ele. counter, in the fixture room, and shoved into the ele. TL's file drawer in the office. Talk about frustrating. I think I only used a handful of them, on a rev with a dozen new cameras. The rest of the cables I used from my stash in the stockroom.

Does anyone know the part number for the anti-rotation devices that sit on the posts? I cannot find them on SAP, and we need a crap-ton of them or risk theft issues.

My store has the phone cord connections for our pucks.

I have a HUGE box of cables kept from our old Specialist. They come in handy when I get the new camera's in. That way I don't have to wait on the new cables to come in to get them powered on.

Cables are not a problem at all-we are overflowing with them because they are never tossed. It's those little black clips that slide into the top of the posts and prevent the cameras from spinning that we need badly.

Honestly I'm not sure. If I had to guess though, I think they come with the whole post. I don't think you can get those individually. I've actually started saving them from posts that go bad and I have to toss, because sometimes other TM's lose them on occasion.
