This may seem like a stupid question but what is your initial user id and password for the cash register. Never done it before.
 
If you never cashiered before, you will have to have the GSTL/GSA set up log-in permissions for you.
 
after the gstl sets you up on register. the login is the tm# & password that is not in order.(for ex:1234). you will given a learning plan about how to do cashiering...

They recently changed the rules for PINs and you also can't have a PIN that's all the same number. My sr GSTL had to change her pin, because it used to be 0000, lol.

This. Then you log in with your TM number - only the last 8 digits, not the 0s in front. The first time you log in, you have to set a 4-digit PIN. Your PIN can't be all the same number or 1234 (like HLM said).
 
My Pin was 1147. Oops I was I not supposed to tell anyone that. lol

When POS told me to change it. I would change then change it back.
