Hi I'm new to closing electronics and would like to know some tips and things that need to be done besides shutting off TV's locking away the iPads and such In Electronics backroom with its locked door.

Is it just doing opening stuff In reverse?

Just depends on your setup.

I have always known the TVs to power off automatically.

Check your Electronics hold area for any expired holds and reshop it.

Most stores you'll just focus on guest service, zone, and returns. TVs and other displays power off automatically. iPads, iPods, etc stay in the locked cases. The only time that the iPads/iPods might need to be moved are if the store is closed the next day (Easter/Thanksgiving/Christmas). AP usually moves them to their office or somewhere else.

Its pretty easy really. TVs will shut down when the store closes. You might want to do one last check of the lock up cases and hold box, then just work returns. Just like you would for the sales floor. If you have any other questions I would be ahppy to answer as i work in electronics in my store.
