Seems the cut backs at my store have been a bit deeper than usual. Virtually no food in the break room anymore, unless its tied to being geeen in some area. The only food that shows up these days is the monthly BDay treat. No perks for getting a redcard: no free Starbucks, no giftcard, no hot potato, nothing. I know some stores never offer anything for a RedCard, but mine always has. Wondering if these are corporate edicts, or something has changed at my store. We have a new temporary STL. Curious if he is trying to make his mark and show he is ready for his own store. Although with all the red on surveys lately, he's doing just the opposite.

Store expenses isn't on the AE2015 score this year...but it was last year. If anything, your store should have relaxed a bit with the requisition budget. Sounds more like your leaders just aren't putting in the effort for Fast Fun Friendly events.

Our store always had something going on. I think a lot of it has a to do with what kind of team leaders you have. Ours were always very upbeat, seemed to really love the store, and we actually had a calendar with events for each day of the week be it drinks or ice cream. Maybe it will change in the future but I agree with the above post they may just not be putting in the effort.

Just the opposite going on. Our breakroom calendar lists all the events (BDays & anniversaries) and any treats are conditioned upon a goal of green in some metric. Other than the monthly BDay treat and Wellness Wednesday there is NOTHING. We used to have something a min of 3x a week, if not 4 or 5 times. And nothing for RCs either. GSA said she was told to requisition nothing at all.

When does the fiscal year begin for requisiton budgeting? Calendar year? After AE2015 results?

Our store has also cut back a lot. We were told they need to carefully watch requisitions and "tighten our belts" on the fun stuff.
