Archived Demotion or Nah?

I would say yes. But, i am not certain. Spot has done changes to ap, this year. Jobs were reduced.

Er...good question. I don't believe that Investgations Techs are salary, as when they consolidated all the IC's into the Regional IC, I overheard my ETL talking to the APBP about how alot of the Techs not being qualified to be APS's; therefore, I would say from the corporate perspective, yes, they would consider it a demotion.
That said, it's a completely different job from being an ETL, so they might allow you to apply for it and just switch to hourly. I think one of the other guys was signed off to become a Tech before they Consolidated the IC's, but I can't remember who.
