So this week i had a coworker have a really serious illegal drug reaction in my work area. I told a TL like i was supposed to because this guy was almost having an overdose here. So today after coming back after being off yesterday , i came into this same person still being here and i don't feel like work is safe now. What should i do since management ignored what happenef and still allowed this person to come back to work ?

All the ETLs were here when it happened. My ETL was the one who took him home after the event. The Paramedics had to come out here to make sure he wasnt dying. They told the ETLs who were there with him that he was really high on some narcotic. My comcern is he will become violent on his drugs and try to attack me and then i will be fired for defending myself against against this guy since he was allowed back. Plus my ETL had told the guys girlfriend on the phone when he was tryimg to get someone to come pick him up that i was the one who got management about his event.

Are we talking recreational/street drugs, or prescribed narcotics/pain killers? But....

Document document document. Tell your SD and HR that you feel that you are not safe with this TM working along side them. Well at least back in my days, if there is an incident like that, the store would have the team member under go a drug screening and suspend them until an investigation was complete; pull video and drug test results.

You have already indentified yourself to your store leadership to be knowledgeable of the issue. So don't go over their heads just yet. If for some reason your store keeps this TM on, then reach out to the Help Line.

We are talking about street drugs.

Sad part was 3 ETLs were there when ot happened and sit there with him for like 10 minutes while he was tweaking waiting for paramedics. Yeah i have only kept it in store and am waiting to talk with my HR as soon as i see her.

I can sympathize...I worked on pain killers after kidney stone/infection event and burns but was given the ok since I informed my TLs.

I had a fellow CA get immediately termdc for smoking pot behind the building.

Then a couple years back I was doing a Walmart pickup, and saw a WalMart employee hiding behind a boulder on the edge of the parking lot doing a line of something off their phone. The phone was up to the woman's nose. 👃👃👃
