Archived giving away all my shifts

i don't really need the little money my 12 hour weeks at target gives me these days, but other people do this time of year. is there any repercussions for giving away all my shifts for like, a month for example, as long as people take them? i figure people needing hours would appreciate this.

I have extremely limited availability (one day a week). There was a span last year where they just didn't schedule me for three months. I was totally okay with this, because I kept my discount and I have a different job, but I didn't need to do any paperwork or anything of that sort.

Think if you give up your shifts it would be okay though. That's regarding time off requests, maximum is 2 weeks at a time.
