So I was hired as a seasonal merchandise flow TM because I have experience unloading trucks and all that. But, when I informed them that I also have experience in Soft lines, they put me there. They told me if interested, I can possibly be cross trained in Flow and maybe electronics since that is an area of interest as well.
1st 2 days were good. We got done soft lines early and I was asked to go to the "long hall" stockroom and "challenge", which I'm sure Target veterans know what that is.
Pretty easy stuff besides remembering where certain things are supposed to go. Everyone helps out whenever I have a question.
I like the staff and job overall. But, in case I'm not permanently hired, I'm already looking for a white collar gig. Target is pretty cool though. I know it's gonna pick up since Christmas is very close. But, I'm enjoying it so far!
