Guest Service No Reciept Returns ALL Returing Full Price?

For the last several months all items have been returning full price even if in that week we are running a sale on them, has anyone else had this? We've told our AP and they said they were working on it months ago but then nothing ever changed.
 
No-receipt returns ares supposed to go to merchandise cards so hopefully your store is doing that way.

You have to remember that the return price MIGHT BE MUCH LOWER than what they paid for it.

If the tag (if any) states $29.99 and they don't have a receipt and they bought it 90 days ago the refund might be ZERO.

IMHO it all evens out in the end.

Before doing no receipt return I check current price of item and return price w/o receipt. I use the lower of the two, bc sometimes return price w/o receipt is higher than current price and that makes no sense.
