Had my virtual interview weeks ago and it's been crickets

I applied for Style after I went inside to speak to someone and they told me they were hiring super soon and then got an interview (virtually) a little over 2 weeks ago, I completed it immediately. Didn't hear anything so called HR about a week later and she said she would forward my interview to the Team Lead for a decision, and I still haven't heard anything. I used to work at Target years ago when they did in person interviews and I think the virtual interviews allow them to drag their feet which is frustrating. Am I just being impatient or it normal to wait this long after an interview?

Don't hold out for just Target. Keep applying to other places. As a former TM from the early 2000s, its not the same company.

Target has deteriorated quite a bit in the last few years, it’s hard to say whether not hearing from them yet is a bad sign or just the result of overworked and stressed out people trying to meet priorities and just not finding time to make their decision and get back to you. And that’s provided that HR remembered to forward your interview to the TL, that the TL actually read it, and probably a slew of other things that could slow down the process. Hope things turn out well for you, but be advised that working for Target truly has changed, and not for the better. Just saying. Good luck!🍀
