Grab your book, look at your map, set labels, & find the product in the backroom. Then set it.

You'll get a book for whatever adjacency you're setting. Find the map that corresponds to your store. There might not be an exact map, so you might have to improvise. I always move my fixtures before I move clothing. I also assign any POGs that I might have to set. Then I move the clothing according to the adjacency. Keep in mind you might not have the exact fixtures it calls for and sometimes not the clothing either. Use your best judgement when this comes up. Keep brands together.
Anytime I divert from the adjacency, I make a note of why in the book so I can speak to it if need be.
It will also tell you how to dress the mannequins.
It's really a lot of trial and error, so don't worry if you're not able to make it totally look the way it's "supposed" to.
