MyTime How do you request a day off in the My Time app when you don't have PTO? It keeps asking for PTO Vacation or Sick Time, which I don't have.

How do you ask for a particular day off? I go to My Requests and put in Time-Off Request and then New Request. Again, I say Time Off. I put in the date and then it asks for a time. I put in my start time and 12 hours and then for Type it only says PTO - Vacation or PTO-Sick. I don't have any PTO earned. I just want to take the day off.

there maybe a black out this month at your store. Talk to your stl, tl or HR on the day you need off.

PTO vacation is unpaid PTO. Try doing a swap shift is an option.

I just picked some random day in January was able to do it.

You should pick to be off all day too.

The date you picked might be a blackout one like someone mentioned.

If it's too close of a day, and the schedule is being written for that time, it will only let you pick PTO. Choose a date further out and you should get the other options.
