Open enrollment is in March for insurance. You have to maintain 31.5 hours weekly average to get the benefits. A package will be given to you.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but if I remember...
When you become a TL you have the option to enroll for the rest of the plan year if not already enrolled. It counts as a life changing event. My memory might be a little off though...I'm pretty sure I enrolled when I became a TL which was a while before open enrollment. Then I had to enroll again a few months later when it was open enrollment for the next plan year.
