Archived How long until you receive your schedule?

Went to orientation June 20 and was told I would be called to receive my schedule. 5 days past and no call, so on the 25th I called my store to check.

I was told I was definitely on the schedule and would receive a call by the 27th. Obviously, it's the 29th now, 9 days after my orientation and still no call.

I don't want to say impatient/ungrateful but does it normally take this long to receive a schedule? This is kinda messed up. I didn't apply to this job for fun. People have bills to pay.

I remember another new hire at the orientation got his schedule at the end of orientation and worked a couple days afterwards.

He was backroom. I'm a cashier, does that have anything to do with the long wait? How long did you guys have to wait after orientation?

That's odd. May people get thier first schedule at orientation.

It is suggested to call hr.

i would call back again. When we have people go through orientation i put them on the cashier schedule that week and they get their schedule at orientation.

You should receive your schedule at orientation. I give the tm their shifts for 3 weeks.
