Archived Just got hired but did something weird happen?

So last Friday (April 17th) I had my In store Interview for flow team position. Interview went well and I was offered the job on the spot. HR was not In at the time so the LOD who did the Interview told me to be expecting a call for orientation. Well I got the call on monday to come In and sign off for background check and that my orientation would be on April 28th at 9am.

Now my question Is when I am supposed to take a drug test? I do not do drugs but after reading the Interview process from hundreds of people (glassdoor) everyone of them had to take a drug test within 24 hours of being hired. So why have I not received one? Thanks!

From what I understand Target has pretty much quit doing drug tests these day except for a few positions like AP and Pharmacy.

It has little to do with states legalizing and more to do with Spot simply wanting to cut costs.
