My ETL-AP asked me to be a line service ambassador this year for Thanksgiving night. Can anyone tell me what this position entails and if it envolves any kind of crowd control and most of all. Is it enjoyable?

You'll be there to give out store maps that show where product is located throughout the store, help guests with cartwheel and talk up the red card.

Mostly you'll be a outside greeter.

Handing out store maps, Door Buster ads and flyers. Providing cookies, coffee and hot chocolate. Basically entertain the guests while they wait.

Crowd control is all up to the ETLs, AP, and few select TLs.

I did it last year. You'll just monitor the lines, call ap for any issues.. line cutters, people selling their ticket for their TVs, any arguments.. you'll be passing out maps, granola bars or whatever else they decide to give out, and answering the same questions over and over..
