...I did put in an LOA that was approved today.
It has gotten to the point where I need to take a break from Spot. Things have been seemingly getting worse at my particular store and I (along with many others) feel as if we are entirely inconsequential. Given too many duties with too little time, management who barely helps (doing CAF pulls every once in a while is not the same as helping "all the time"), barely any life-work balance, and constantly getting pegged over those damn RedCards. Yes, there are those who have done this longer, and in probably worse conditions, but I'm apparently not tough enough to deal with it anymore.
So what will I be doing in the meantime?
1.) I've applied to several graduate programs and am waiting as to where those will go.
2.) I have friends who are going to try and help me get into some volunteer work related to my degree; which could potentially lead to work in a field related to what I studied.
3.) Apply to other jobs. Including some work abroad programs.
Nothing is set in stone and whether or not I will ultimately return to Spot remains to be seen.
I'll continue seeing you round the forums.
