I despise that dish soap. I've had so many cashiers call me over because it won't scan. I feel like I'm constantly telling them where to find DPCIs...not just on the dish soap, but clothes, etc. They can't seem to remember that if Target makes it, there's a good chance there's a number on there somewhere...so quit bugging me.

True...but on the other hand Spot has to know that you cant scan these new packages of Up and Up dish soap( they don't manufacture it but you know they have to approve the packaging etc) and if you cant even read the label how are you going to see the dpci? Now with clothes that's a different story...the dpci is right there on the tag

I bought one last time we needed dish soap. they were all monarched. I feel sorry for the poor soul that had to spend all their time doing that, but seriously, that was like the worst design change ever.

You can have someone bcode them with a sticker a place on the item so it will scan at the register.

yeah like your stl or dtl will allow that it isnt "brand". eventhough it makes complete sense

Yeah I saw those. Terrible design, I have no idea who would even ok something like that. For a company that's so damn pressed to push for efficiency and save money it seems to do it in a lackadaisical manner.
