I think Capitan was the word they used, but what exactly did I just agree to?

I've been doing the revisions for years, at two stores. About 10 years now. I've never heard of a captain. I staple all my own paperwork, sort label strips, and do 99.9% of the revisions each week.

Unless it came with a raise it just means they now will blame you for all revision based problems....

I'm currently the most senior POG member of my team, everyone else is a year or less on POG with half the team recently acquired from seasonal leftovers. After the major seasonal sets, I've been deligated the revisions role on the team. I'm now the POG leper and only see my team if I happen to be doing a revision in an area that POGs are being set.

I wish there was more ceremony to this. A title like Revisions Capitan sounds regal for Pete sake. Ugh.

Captainships came with a raise about 5-6 years ago. Probably not anymore though since they took away a lot of the speciality positions. It just means you'll be "owning" Revisions.

Revision comrade seems more suiting

Captainship just means you're now in charge of this without any raise. More responsibility with same pay.
