If you are on a ca for performance and you get injured on the job, does the time period on the ca stop until you get back to work?

Not exactly the case, but I had to go on leave for surgery/recovery for 2 weeks in hometown while just under my 90 days. I came back received my 90 day review which was scheduled during my leave.
