I've been working in the backroom during the Early AM Flow shift for quite some time. Lately the Logistics has been scheduling us funky hours due to our P-Fresh remodel. We're usually 3-11am but the schedule has gone anywhere from 2-10am, 3-8am on no truck nights, and 3-10am without the second 15 minute break. Now, without asking anyone involved, the shift has us at 4am-12pm. Problem is is that a few of us already have other jobs to go to and cannot stay the extra hour without interfering with our prior commitments. For most of us Target isn't the primary job but we would rather not blow off work if we can. Is there any way not to get in trouble with Target if we already have prior engagements?

Well if your availability says you can't work till 12 then take it up with your HR but if you have open availability, then they'll schedule you till then because they don't know you can't stay till 12.
