Archived Secondary Insurance?

I was reading through my newly eligible benefits and I thought that I read somewhere that if you accept any of the health insurance plans through Target you can't be covered by another insurance.
Any feedback or suggestions?
I mainly use my current insurance to cover medication costs (a generic medication that's completely covered every month) but have no vision or dental coverage.
But I also would like to take advantage of the vision and dental because I wear glasses and contacts, and dental would be helpful.
