Not every store though, some stores have Bluetooth walkies that are rather slow and have a delay. There's also about 4 different frequencies for the regular walkies, when I was an Inventory TL last year, I brought my own personal walkie (my store gives each TL their own to keep) and there were multiple stores that it didn't work at, because their walkies are all on a different frequency. Stores in really busy areas/malls/outlets usually use different walkies to prevent interference from surrounding stores' walkies.

Yeah there's a couple words for that: grand larceny. Those walkies are about $250 a piece. They absolutely should be returned ASAP. Target takes theft seriously and will prosecute in most cases.

Inflation? Last I heard, they were about $85. Doesn't make this situation any better, but holy cow, those went way up.
