I'm Lost! what does "kool-aid" mean....

it's all i hear on this forum... like srsly? in every thread someone says "they sippin` on da target kool aid"
what???? i do not understand this form of lingo.... plz explain it to me... i am very confused.... do you guys mean like real koolaid drinking or is it a term for like targets bosses or something sinister of that nature.... like really.... not everyone can understand this stuff guys
