Archived When to activate price change items?

Let's say I'm doing the Toys dept. Should I activate it after each aisle is done, after finishing the toys dept., or should it best be done at the end of the day when everything has been scanned including backroom?

If you print out the price change workload, you can just scan each barcode to activate it as you put it up. I typically go aisle by aisle, and activate one aisle at a time.

I print out the activation labels and go aisle by aisle. You can activate by scanning each barcode on the sheet or in the price change menu if you choose the “aisle” tab and go to the aisle you’re currently on you can select “activate all labels” and it will activate every label within that current aisle you selected.

So let’s say you were working in B43 and you have 25 DPCIs of price change in just that aisle, when you select “activate all labels” all 25 DPCIs gets activated and cleared from the gun immediately.
Whereas if you’re activating it off the sheet labels you have to manually scan each label at a time to activate.

Sorry I wasn't quite clear, I meant clearance items that are not found. When do you activate stuff not found?

We always waited until we were done with an entire dept including the clearance endcaps. You never know where you might find items and if you activate it early you won't remember it later. The only caveat being if we were scanning everything in the aisles then we'd clear as we went along.

Sorry for unlocated Clearance I wait till the very end. Once I sweep through all the locates aisle ones, then go through my back end caps, once I thoroughly went through my whole dept then I probably activate it

I would do it after pushing. Some stores have timers on how fast you are pushing.

Now our store is not really micromanaging the push as long as everything comes out clean by the end of the day. But for me if I dedicate some time doing price change for all my aisles it takes away a good 20 minutes from my schedule . Every day I’m pushing way too much than my fellow tms receiving almost no help. I wish price change and setting end caps were asked to be done by the one who gets comparatively less push on that particular day!
