Archived Why doesn't Target sell marbles?

I hear this question from guests about once a month. Is it a safety issue or what? Also, silly putty. I saw it once during Christmas one or two years back.. but never since.

We do sell marbles in toys under the playing cards. Silly putty, maybe in party.

Marbles are in the little divided toys, under 5 bucks. We have a hard time keeping them in stock.

Silly putty was always in one spot at our store.

Silly putty just went salvage in the last dollar spot reset. We never had much in...probably due to the port slow down.

Target lost its marbles quite a while ago, sadly.

Stuff like marbles is one of the few items that don't show up on a PDA when looking them up. Another example is trading cards and gift cards.
