Answered Will i be written up or fired for calling out after giving my shift up for grabs on kronos?

I’ve been trying to get my shift covered for a week now and no one can cover it, and tonight if no one covers it I have to call out. Will i get fired? (i’ve only called out once)

You may end up getting talked to or getting a corrective, but you shouldn’t be fired for two absences if you are past your first 90 days. Calling off when you are under 90 days can be a bit tricky, since they can fire you for anything during that time. Since the whole store knows that you were trying to cover that shift, calling out may get you on leaderships’ naughty list, just saying. Good luck.
