Wasn't like I did it on purpose, by the time I woke up it was past the 2 hour mark. I talked to my TL about it right after, but thanks for all of the kind responses.
We have a GSA at my store who has been a GSA for at least 5 years. He went for the TL interview two times, and was denied the position both times. However the problem isn't target it's his additude. I have been a GSA for a year, and am on my way to being a TL.
If they continue to schedule you for GSA shifts make sure they actually promote you to GSA. Also depending on what day they schedule you (Monday or Tuesday night) it shouldn't be too bad. Those days are usually pretty dead at my store.
I've seen a TL wear a plaid red shirt, and a TM where a striped shirt I find them both a little unprofessional. As per color anything darker than the men's C9 long sleeve maroon shirt should be a no go.
At my store it's encouraged for TM's to write vibe cards. We even have a vibe basket a TM can win at the end of the month with the most vibe-tastic moment.
My store recently announced that we are getting rid of our FA and getting a Starbucks. I have been prepping for TL interviews and by the sounds of it, there's a good chance I'll be put on the bench. My ETL had already mentioned how they're looking to me for the TL spot over at the new Starbucks...
