And dress code is pretty much what you make of it. Closed toed shoes, and for guys thats about it. You have to wear a shirt of course, but i typically just wear undershirts most of time. Just use common sense
There are always some downers, but i think most are happy with their jobs. As far as departments, its all in opinion. The easiest would be warehousing. As i said before, mostly they just ride around all day and move freight from here to there. Hardest part is just making your daily numbers...
Strong piece of advice. You would be amazed how devastating it is for your feet to stand on the same equipment for 10 to 12 hours. Invest in some VERY comforterable shoes (target approved of course). Buy some gel insoles or something, because otherwise it will feel like your feet were beaten...

Ive worked at a dc for about a year now and have been considering picking up a second job for extra cash. Since obviously I cant work for a competitor I thought working for a local target store would be perfect. Has anyone here ever heard if thats even possible?
Unions are the worst idea. Everyone is so spoiled these days. Union were created back when most jobs were dangerous. Back when the death rates at job sites was 50%. Back when those same jobs paid next to nothing at all. Unions served their purpose and brought us out of that era. Here and now...
Well no greenshirt this time. Its ok though, competition was steep. The guy that got it has 6yrs seniority on me and more qualified. As I see it, one less to compete with next time. Thanks for the support from all of you.
