MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

When I did signing I kept paperwork to a minimum. Plano TL would hand me the POG with the PPA stapled and filled out, then I would walk it to verify and place the needed orders, mark what was outstanding on the PPA and hand it back. When items came in I would either scan it to find location or...

Your DTL is a tool and is also not the one with the final say on if it gets replaced.

Archived Time Clock WTD says 0.00?

Did you have a *MP* on the clock when you punched? It means a Missing Punch and your hours won't add up for those days until it is resolved.

    2) WACOs shouldn't take you that long to come in. File a mySupport form for tracking your TIPP order and they can follow up with the vendor on what's taking so long and give you an updated delivery date. 4) Are you saying the entire upright is bent? They make a special lift designed to lift...

Your SFT would be a good partner on this project as you are talking about replacing a store asset which falls under Facility Management control. We have a semi-annual job of checking over the boat and making sure everything is working properly, repairing/replacing as needed. If you could tally...

Keep it on task for AE2013 discussion please people. If this thread is continued to make personal attacks, REGARDLESS of who started it, I'll scrub this thread to bring it back on topic.

SFTs will also have their cell phones on them too. Not sure what the rule for us is, but when you're on the roof/WAVE trying to troubleshoot something and you need to call one of your peers for advice, you don't want to be running back and forth to a phone somewhere else.

Integrity Hotline for sure, for more than one reason. Sounds like someone needs to get their APBP to reign their AP person in.

MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

As an SFT I got the e-mail that talked about the shelves not being flipped. As a former Signing TM I also know how to keep a clean and organized Fixture Room. My DFM trusts my judgement and the store does their part.

    Archived incident report question.

Nobody expects EVERY injury to be reported, there's no sense filling out forms for a paper cut. Injuries for power equipment though? ALWAYS fill out the paperwork!

    Archived TM hardship fund?

I speak from personal experience here. You need to go over paperwork with your ETL-HR/STL and have them submit it.Target Annie is correct, very quick process to be approved and receive payment. Maximum is $500(when I applied) and you do NOT have to pay it back.

    Archived dating policy?

    1) Just like to say that being an SFT and not under anyone in the store means I could date anyone I feel like(not that I am, but it's nice to have options :D ). 2) There are three types of camera systems: Analog, Digital and a Hybrid system. Trust me, this equipment can become VERY expensive...

    Archived Fake Currency

Most stores shouldn't have the pens/machines installed as HQ would rather use the AP/camera approach to tackling the problem quietly. There are certain problem areas that have been excluded from this approach and have been approved for use of alternatives. SFTs have been issued Field Projects to...

    Archived Raises

I went from a PG09 to PG17 for my SFT position which resulted in a $6.50 raise, so some promotions are still worth it, you just have to keep looking if you want to stay in the company.
