Omg I'm not a cart attendant but i totally understand where you're coming from. I usually get mid day shifts which are from 2:30-6:30pm. The cart attendant doesnt come in until 6pm. So what happens? the store starts running short or completely out of carts and guess who has to bring them in? I...
The irony.. im sales floor, NEVER have i been trained for electronics and to make matters worse im completely clueless when it comes to up to gaming, TVs and such. Yet they have me cover breaks/lunch and one time i had to cover a 4hr shift for a NCNS while working my own shift (mid doing pulls)...
I work at a super target so most likely our backroom is bigger than the average. idk if its any different to that of a normal target, but i put backstock on the opposite side of the push line towards the opposite end (there are signs on the steel beam on top that say "push" "plano" "clearance"...
Nope, our softlines ETL who also happens to be ETL for hardlines doesnt help us. She rarely passes by the fitting room and when she does she only asks how reshops are going and leaves. However she does help with hardlines strays by going around the store and placing it in our reshop carts.
This is kinda related to Target. I went to the next door walmart after my closing shift to buy some milk (obviously in red and khaki) when this guy walks up to me and asks "hey can i ask you something? where is..." so i kindly interrupt and say "sorry i dont work here" The look on his face was...
My store has some hiring to do. This month alone we had 1 AP guy quit, 2 from softlines, 1 from produce, 1 from electronics, a cart attendant, 1 from guest service and a cashier. They're all moving on in life
If it helps you feel any better, I only get 12 hrs a week and I'm trained in hardlines, softlines, electronics, plano, and cashier. Only way I get extra hrs is if they extend me or if they call me in.
The Halloween candy section is all set in my store, shippers are set and theres 2 isles of kid and dog costumes (and more to come) as well as some end caps with Halloween napkins, paper plates, forks etc, greeting cards and all. ITS HERE!!! THE 4TH QUARTER OF HELL! :cray::help:
Our STL told us on sunday about this new technology. He said it was discussed at this big STL meeting he had gotten back from in Minneapolis. Apparently there will be iPads in the fitting room and by infant hardlines for guests to interact with as well as us team members to help guests find...
I would call to check again, like someone said it doesn't hurt anyone and it shows you wanna work. If I remember correctly I didn't hear from them until after 2-3 weeks of taking my drug test.
In my store we are allowed to use our phones to help guests with finding stuff online. At first we thought it wasn't allowed but the topic came up in a huddle and my STL said to feel free to use our phones to guest service.
You won't get fired. What I dont understand is how your TL or whoever was in charge of your shift didnt tell you anything when you clocked out early? I mean in my store before we clock out we let the LOD know and they give is the all clear. Unless in your store you arent required to do that...
I hate it when guests make you look like the evil worker just to try to get their kids to calm down.. "otherwise this worker here will take you away"
Or when a guest thinks they can use you as their personal price scanner. One time this lady shopping at toys had me follow her around with my...
