I just got asked if i wanted to pick up a hardlines shift. I said no because ive never done it before but he said id just be "pulling cafs" so i agreed.

I wore jeans sneakers and a polo shirt and got the job.

The LOD came up to my register a few days ago and told me a guest called and complained and said I wasn't friendly. She told me to I'm a nice kid and the guy sounded like a grump but to try and be more friendly and speak clearly.

As a CA I only go for backup if I have a decent amount of carts in and have a good amount of time to finish tasks.
Last time I was asked to backup cashier I was stuck their for 1 hour and a half and wasn't able to finish my CA duties till 10:40.
