Actually it's much easier to get a work visa when you already have a job offer. I know this from personal experience.

I like the count update report since its more integrated. Haven't seen any problems with TM pull report

All good! CRC Error moving to a non-scored metric is more in line with the Vibe and common sense really. Guest has a receipt for that TV but no box? Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and accept that return, error or not. BRLA % is a more useful stat to measure as far as shortage goes. Seasonality...

This makes more sense than anything else said here. Though HQ plants do exist, its almost always a union buster. An HQ plant wouldn't leave their notes in a spill station.

    Archived AP team leader?

Other than the things you should know in general for Target interviews (covered in other threads) emphasize your ability to demonstrate courage (especially to other leaders - challenging upwards), communicate effectively, and make the decision that's best for the business. Oftentimes in AP...

    Archived AP team leader?

In my humble opinion, APTL is the absolute best position in the store. Your roles involve: keeping the store safe and secure by driving safety best practices and ensuring key control is followed, etc; reducing shortage by driving down theft and fraud and following up on operational issues; and...

    Archived AP - Shortage Indicator

Agree 100%. Unfortunately its on the store fact sheet and people in charge of your promotions see red and freak out.

    Archived AP - Shortage Indicator

Thanks for the advice guys. Its true that you can have great shortage numbers and a mediocre or terrible SI over the same timespan. Some people in positions of power don't seem to understand that though.

    Archived AP - Shortage Indicator

My shortage indicator is blood red and not just because of fourth quarter. It has been for awhile. From all my time in AP its never been a focus of mine because I've been able to drive down shortage year over year without paying much attention to it. Personally I think the report is flawed...

    Archived Personal Conversion Reports

Cashiers get it easy when their leaders don't use the productivity report. Every other area's TMs have goals to meet for their shift (zone, reshop, end caps, attachments, fresh and full, etc) so why shouldn't cashiers? I understand that its awkward and it may seem like harassment to some people...

ETLs are supposed to change position sometime after every 18 months anyway. Often they will go to a different store

    Archived AP question...

Honestly its impossible to know why they were doing this. A TPS wouldn't go undercover in his own store to watch a TM because I think the TM would know who he is. AP just helps on the floor sometimes. Could be as innocent as that.

Most of what you see on SharePoint now is going to be ideas that weren't firmed up yet. AE13 is already rolled out at this point to STLs and ETLs.

So I learned more about the Unique Store Processes this week. Funny thing is that at least for our district it only meant positive things. Extra ETL for one store and extra hours for another.

    Archived Electronics Boat

In our AE meeting our STL brought up how the company is changing its attitude for repairs. Instead of spending (for instance) $500 eight times to repair something, they'd rather we spend the $4000 up front to totally replace it. Your request goes somewhat beyond just a cookie oven or credit card...
