    ETL Review scores

Wondering what percentage ETLs received for raises this year. All four of us in my store got between 2.5-3.5% after having a great year in sales and metrics. Wondering if the lower scores were company wide or because our SD basically screwed us over. Other theory is that lower scores were given...

    Team lead bonus

Just clarification. Bonus amounts are withheld at a higher percentage rate not actually taxed at that rate. You pay taxes on overall earnings for the year but the government requires one time payments and supplemental income be withheld at a higher rate. Everything comes out correctly when tax...

I'm Lost! Sticker roll part numbers

SFs.ltdqty or something very similar for the hazardous ones. We never order the fragile because they are a waste. All numbers are on the SFS supply audit guide for future

Archived Why are we open on Labor Day?

100% false. Overtime pay is not taxed at any other rate than regular pay. Withholding varies slightly but actual tax rate doesn't change. Unless you are on a tight borderline for assistance programs, working more hours or earning a higher wage will always result in making more money.

It's not Salvage yet. Does go 30% PLU starting tomorrow though.

    Archived New phone system

We only had 15 login slots before the update this week. Now with individual department logins we have 24 slots. Each area has between 1 and four phone line logins. Only hiccup for us so far is that guests have the option to select Beauty when calling the store but our phone doesn't have a Beauty...

    Archived Mistake doing audit?

Most accurate is to audit the backroom first, then the floor count.

    Archived Bunker Rules

FMOC is what you're thinking of. Facilities and Maintenance Operations Center I think. They track all refrigeration issues and maintenance work done in stores

    Archived RTS batch question

I'd guess that the team member picking actually had more than one order in the batch and didn't pay attention while bagging the items. Probably put two orders worth of items into one bag/location and tossed one of the label stickers

Archived When to Use Audit app and EXF

EXF updates the "on the floor" counts. Audit updates the "on hand" counts. Easiest way I've found to explain the difference to team members.

    Archived RTS batch question

This works for OPU and SFS batches but does not apply to RTS batches.

    Archived RTS batch question

Amanda is 100% correct here. In a RTS batch you never enter a clip or cart so there is nothing to scan after hitting no cart tied. Only way to get back into a RTS batch is wait the 5-10 minutes until the batch shows up again

    Archived Next Pay Increase?

You are correct, you should be setting your budget based on your compensation not the other way around. If your budget is higher, one of the two things needs to change. Also as a word of advice, don't ever ask for a raise because others are doing less work or have invested less time. When...

    Archived MyDevice Airwatch issue

You can take out the battery as others have said, or hold down the power button and select reboot. The reboot pop up is half covered by the white box but if you tap where the "OK" button is located, the device will reboot.

    Archived Hourly pay related post.

I'm saying I guarantee OP is making $12/hr. They may never have had a sit down conversation about being bumped up to $12, but they are making it. Not saying it's a lie, but I've had this kind of conversation hundreds if not thousands of times in my career, and never once has a person actually...

    Archived Hourly pay related post.

I guarantee you are making $12/hr at least. Look at your payslip in workday and do the math. Company wide minimum is $12/hr, there's no reason one random employee would be making under that.

    Archived Next Pay Increase?

Compare your wage to your budget. Making $2/hr more than a new hire feels all warm and fuzzy but if it's not enough to pay your bills than it won't work. You're "worth" whatever wage you agreed to work for. If you're worth more than you make now, go find that job that pays you more for your skills.

    Archived Next Pay Increase?

What makes paying your bills easier? $13/hr when that seventeen year old is making the same or $11/hr when the seventeen year old is only making $9/ hr? Think with your wallet and not your emotions. Tenured team members should be earning more than seasonals, I agree, but don't scoff at a higher...

    Archived W2's

Announced yesterday that supposedly refunds will not be delayed due to the shutdown. I would assume if you eFile and don't have any major red flags on your return, your refund should still come pretty quickly. Best advice is to correct your W4 so you get more money with each paycheck and don't...

    Archived Is this true?

This is simply not true in any way. No bonuses are based on payroll other than that being an overall metric for store and leadership performance. There is no flat rate bonus for ETLs or STLs either. Salaried leaders have an Incentive Plan for bonuses that is based on several metrics relating...
