    Bye Spot!

Final update as far as Spot is concerned: I managed to land something in my field doing tech support/IT and I'm done with Spot for good. Better pay and more consistent hours for what sounds like significantly less work in a given day. Bye Spot, not looking back this time!

    Bye Spot!

Well, didn't think this was going to happen, but I'm back at Spot for the time being. Moved states recently, and my transfer fell through with my other job. So, back to Spot and back to electronics for a while.

Nope, games you own are yours and you don't have to pay for subscription services if you don't want to. What Microsoft is doing here is allowing people to do a payment plan for their new console if they don't want to drop $300 on a Series S or $500 on a Series X. Instead, you can finance either...

    ATT rep soliciting to guest

Thing is, the Marketsource reps were generally supposed to be doing the same thing (depending on who their district manager was) since it was considered proactive to step out of electronics and promote the brand to those guests that might not have even realized mobile was something Spot could...

Yikes! I once uncovered a copy of MLB 2K10 while cleaning out the video game wacos.

Not that it makes much difference, but having AT&T-paid reps in the building makes me worry for how guest experience will be affected. AT&T's customer service is notoriously bad even among cell phone carriers.

If Plus Mobile rolls out any further than it had in mid-2019, the only problem I feel that they'll need to solve is how long one individual activation or problem can take. The estimate corporate gave of a 45 minute average was pretty spot on, but in practice that looked like a bunch of 10-20...

But it's different than an expansion of Plus Mobile? I would've honestly expected them to simply make the TMs do the mobile workload in more stores if Plus Mobile proved viable.

On top of what @Hardlinesmaster said, Consumer Cellular is the best way for Spot to compete with Best Buy in the mobile phone business. About a year or two ago, Best Buy bought Greatcall (Jitterbug) and offers exclusive services and senior-focused cell plans. Having a contract with CC gives Spot...

Did spot finally drop Marketsource as a partner?

This is from Anker's warranty page: "Anker’s limited warranty is restricted to the country of purchase. The limited warranty is void on items taken outside the country they were originally bought in or shipped to directly from an authorized online purchase." As for Native Union, their warranty...

The other great thing is Anker and Native Union warranty their cables as well, so even if they do break you can get a replacement.

I like the look of those buds, but can't they think of a better name for the Heyday wireless stuff than HEYDAY EARBUD 04 when pairing? Maybe it's just me, but I like when my products have an actual model name.

Mobile Tech not being able to help anymore?

This is accurate, though as far as I'm aware the commission currently only extends to very specific Department/Class combos that Marketsource considers "mobile attachments" (last I saw phone cases weren't even included most of the time). I suppose this approach is arguably better than what...

Mobile Tech not being able to help anymore?

Well of course it would be better that way, but it would require actual effort on the parts of Marketsource and Spot to do that. Spot's approach right now seems to be finding the minimum effort and monetary investment that allows them to continue being part of the mobile activations game...

    Stepping down as a leader

The process of stepping down itself is uncommon, and the opportunity to promote again depends greatly on the reasons for initially stepping down as well as your continued performance after stepping down combined with the type of ETLs/SD/DSD you have at your new store. An even more uncommon case...

I'll agree that it probably won't sell nearly as well as the more normal colors out there, but there is an argument for Spot to keep trying the "interesting" colors in case one catches on. If they do sell, Heyday has the market of interestingly-colored cables pretty well cornered in retail...

I don't think the iPhone is likely to be portless or e-sim only this year, especially since the carriers are still pushing hard against e-sim tech. I would imagine it's a measure for allowing Spot to be capable of working with e-sim for devices like apple watches. Edit: the portless design...

Answered Do i get a review?

In order to qualify for a review you need to have been employed by Target for at least six months as of when the review period starts. So the short answer is, no, you likely won't get one this year given how recent your start date was.
