I've been working at target for 4.5 years, of those 4.5 years that I've been here my boss or any of my shift leaders never explained certain things that could get you fired. Of those things, is the time clock. They only tell you don't hit your your 8th hour and you will be fine or don't hit...

Maybe it was my fault... But I only had so much time to finish backstocking and there were so many obstacles that it would of been very to keep that exit cleared... Someone even managed to knocked down the fire extinguisher that was behind that ladder!

Pretty much this, I did exactly this during my first year and my shift leaders scheduled me only 4 hours... At least until no one wanted to stay after the truck unloads...

What if your training expires? I had a couple of trainings expire and I never heard a thing from my shift leaders or HR say anything about it... At least not until I brought it up.

My store has it near the backroom... which also happens to be near receiving.

they put you in areas you're weakest in/hate the most SPECIFICALLY on days where it hit CRITICAL MASS hoping that you will Crack under pressure and slowly but surely enticed you turn in your two weeks... they will keep doing that until you snap... or at least that's what it feels like to me

Recently there's a law that has been passed in California that requires your employers to set up your scheduling three weeks in advance... As a result shift leaders can't clock you in earlier than your posted shift and employees cannot work past their post shift.

Target should shoot for japan, it could probably work. Or maybe South Korea or something Perhaps target could even relocate workers to Japan, and maybe that could help dent Japan's workforce shortage.

As long as there is a place for overnight team members I'll be happy

Someone I have admired for the longest time has quit... that person never said goodbye or anything like that as I rarely ever saw them because they were always working during the days I was off and largely due to everyone's hours being cut in general. Definitely made some good memories with this...
