    Archived Raises

Yeah I promoted to TL pretty recently and only got $1.25 raise... My raises went from PG7> + around $1 for PA> + $1.25 for TL, excluding my yearly raise. Pretty annoying when another TL I know who got promoted in late 2011 got like a $3.50 raise from PG7. W/E I'll take whatever I can get while...

    Archived question?

I had to wait 6 months to qualify for benefits. 32 + hours a week will qualify you for full time benefits.

Aren't GSA's a lower pay grade than PA's? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they make the same as logistics/ plano team members.

Archived what happens if you F**k up using subt 999?

I believe he understands the nitty gritty. He probably just wanted to make sure he didn't make 9k errors lol.

Then when they find out you were a team lead they'll think you're a weirdo.

Archived More thorough training for non-seasonal?

Pulling, backstocking, and pushing pretty much sums up working in the backroom! Not much else to learn unless you wanna learn other workcenters. There are random things like printing location labels, SDA, empty location audits..... But that would take about 15 min to learn.

Why yes, because I am important. Although I can understand why others, that are not important, would want to follow the rules.

    Archived Seasonal Termination

Good rant! Not picking at you or anything but why do people often mention how they "worked at Fortune 500 companies?" I always get the impression that it's a brag even though Target is a Fortune 500 company as well! Edit- I see you said Fortune 50 not 500. Target is still top 50 along with...

    Archived Keeping the team late?

Typically closing team members leave 15 minutes late. Just long enough to finish up zone, reshop, etc.. They don't really mind since they're usually only scheduled 4 hours anyhow.

We did >.> Pretty lame that no one was informed on the close time. This is a constant issue at our store. It throws off on hands. Quite the pain.

Archived How to pull discontinued out of backroom?

If it's expired you'll need to qmos it. The expiration date will be on the box. Otherwise your best bet would be to put it all on some endcap in market or at the checklanes on 50% TPC.

    Archived Wanting to move up

I think this depends on the area or store. None of the recent TL promotions I can think of were in college or had a degree.

Archived How to pull discontinued out of backroom?

I'd pull up the backroom detail report on store apps. Filter it to show just the freezer, then organize it by code. D-code is discontinued product. It will show you what is D-code and where it is located in the freezer so you can pull it. Of course you'll need to coordinate with your TL as to...

Archived Oops, our Backroom broke. Can we fix it? (BR advice please?)

Your leadership probably doesn't trust people to push product to the home location correctly when they kill salesplanners or set planograms. I think that's BS and that they should coach people doing things wrong and let instocks take care of the rest! The amount of time wasted on needless pulls...
