Now that I'm paid the same as a Cashier, and just got all of these changes and restrictions dropped on my head, my morale is in the toilet.
Upside: when that happens at least my appetite tanks. I might lose a little weight over the next however long. Woo freakin hoo.
Got stuck on four and the DTL asked me to radio for the LOD when he came in.
Radioed: silence. Check my walkie: 4.
Me, expecting backlash, makes a lame joke about "no wonder it was so quiet."
Dtl: dang, sorry I messed that up.
I, a hard-assed, no non-sense, "say it with a smile and you'll get away with anything" person... don't always want to be the bad guy.
Sometimes I want to be the "yes" when they're expecting a "no"... no, I really don't always want to be a dick.
The gossip thing bugs me. I'll be busting my ass in GSA mode and be forced to bring something to guest service, and right then someone will walk up and our GSTM will be gossiping with other TMs. "S/he'll be right with you" is passive aggressive enough that it doesn't pique the guests interest...
Unfortunately, you don't have 100$ in qualifying infant necessities purchases, to get that 20$ gift card.
No, its 100$ before tax, its nit-picky and confusing, I know.
SURE! I'll count again. I've got nothing else to do.
