I don't know the situation but it sounds like a code yellow and should be taken seriously. If that happened at my store everyone drops everything and starts calling out areas and blocking doors.

If the card stops being responsive during a transaction, which seems to happen a lot now, hit k3 for credit, then k1 for all of it, then k1 for hand key.After that just back out to payment. It seems to trick the system to use the card reader again. It always works for me and my cashiers

That's a myth to get you to work every weekend. At my store I work with a girl who is not available Sunday and gets 32+ hours a week. Plus most work centers get ever other weekend off. Cutting hours for not working the weekend doesn't happen at my store. If you have a good hr they can figure out...

I'm pretty sure target is insured through the bank. So even if we get counterfeit money, we still take it, in less it is very fake. Target don't want lawsuits because you accuse someone of having fake money.

@antwan5544 I would talk to your hr person. In my store the hr does the all of the front end schedule. You should ask to be trained in other work centers.
