    MEGATHREAD Target myDevices

You have a certain window of time, it's somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes it seems, to open all of the apps you need to use after you sign in the first time. If you open them within that window you only have to sign in to the first app, but if you try to open an app after that window of time...

    MEGATHREAD 2018-2019 Store Modernization Megathread

What happens to Presentation and Pricing under this new model? Are they phased out again or do they remain?

MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

48 hours is false. It must remain tied through 12am Sunday morning when the metric resets to count. If you tie it off on Sunday it must remain tied all week.

    Archived Blackhawk displays

It sounds like they didn't finish. If you have the two large pallets with ~6 4-foot black cabinets, you should be getting an entire aisle of gift cards. The presentation team has to set and push the entire thing plus the new gift card endcap fixtures. Blackhawk just helps maintain it when/if...

MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

I noticed last week that about half of ours had come down, but not all of them.

    Archived My time 2.0

At my store that hasn't been the case since late June. Everyone who wasn't a SrTL or above lost the ability to do overrides at the time clock when they lost the ability to edit the schedule in myTime.

    Archived Denim

This is not universal. My store is not in a state that requires uniforms to be provided, so no vests given out, and there is nothing in state law that stops them from requiring khakis, so khakis it is. We have no signing anywhere in TMSC that implies that anything other than red and khaki is ok.

I can't remember the number off of the top of my head, but it is the old number with .1 at the end. So if the old were TXXX the new is TXXX.1, same goes for all of the new rolls. However, there are tips on workbench for using the old rolls without making a mess pulling labels off.

The PPTL gets assigned a "silo" or aisle block to oversee.

    Archived Price Accuracy Questions

You can do the price change labels early because they aren't part of the calculated score. It's the actual ticketing of items that screws you up. We got a 0% in Kids' Apparel one time because of a bored, overzealous ETL on a Friday night. Poor thing meant well.

    Archived Price Accuracy Questions

To your first question: If the Stationery division is in the workload, you would go to the clearance endcaps that have stationery items on them and scan the stationery items. Same for all of the other divisions. It won't be long before you figure out which clearance endcaps need to be scanned...

Archived Corrective action for zebra device

Zebra-specific holsters exist! My store got them in today. They are snugger than the LPDA holsters but are a similar size. There are even a few that came in with a notch for the trigger attachment to slide into.

    Archived No more noreceipt returns

It was corporate. There was communication from corporate on both Redwire and Workbench about disregarding the holiday return policy and attempting all returns. My STL wasn't happy about it either but followed the direction.

    Archived No more noreceipt returns

It's absolutely posted. They send out signs every year to put up at the service desk and back in seasonal. They did, as has been mentioned, end up sending out direction last year to disregard the policy and accept the returns anyway.

MEGATHREAD End to End team PILOT

Our signing TM still gets one day a week to organize the signing area/put up overheads and wall graphics. Everyone is responsible for putting up their own signing and keeping the fixture room clean so the rest of the time the signing TM works in a silo with the rest of the former presentation team.

This will entirely depend on your volume. Higher volumes have more teams. I think it starts with three teams at the lowest volume and works its way up from there.

I certainly agree with you there, but she/they can do everything else. I've worked with deaf TMs before on dayside that were able to interact with guests well enough on the floor. One woman carried a notepad and a pen around in case the guest needed anything too complicated and we were all...

MEGATHREAD End to End team PILOT

I don't want to wade into the pro/anti flow debate, but everyone has a lot to adjust to with this. We've been on it for a few weeks now and every single TM has had to deal with changes. Our flow team has had to get used to coming in later in the day, cashiering, interacting with guests...

You could also get the address of the correct store and have your receiver ship it to them. We had another store send us some of our signing that they had gotten by mistake that way.
