Many apologies, I see my humor flew completely over most heads.

I just counted, there are 65 uboats in our back room. Not counting any on the floor. Does that seem excessive?

This is better than the huge things with the phones that my store has.

Archived Zebras dropping calls while on hold

It's the same reason the network drops out when using the Zebra. The wifi isn't capable of handling the demand placed on it.

I can count on one hand the amount of guest carts I've seen in our backroom. And I think that's only because they were broken.

That would go over about as well as using a shopping cart. Honestly, the SFS carts don't look great.

    MEGATHREAD 2018-2019 Store Modernization Megathread

As an HR professional, I know everything there is to know about ADA. That has nothing to do with section 7 rights. But anything can happen if you let it. Filing complaints with DOL, EEOC, NLRB...that's how to effectively fight these types of backdoor terms. Bitching about it on an online forum...

If you aren't doing anything wrong, they can't prove that they would have terminated you otherwise.

Being fired for discussing working conditions would be a violation of your section 7 rights under the National Labor Relations Act.

My store has 3 tiers and u-boats. Tons more u-boats than 3 tiers, and I hate using u-boats. The new ship carts are strictly for SFS, and I've never even touched one. I've heard the legend of the tubs, but alas, my store ridded itself of them prior to my arrival.

Archived Counts are off...a whining thread

There are a ton of things that frustrate me about my store. Most are just inherent with retail and not store specific. But more than anything else, floor counts being off really annoy me. I hate getting an OOS pull for wicker baskets, finding 5 on the floor at the location, but the zebra showing...

    Archived Calling out

I've only called out twice in the almost 5 months I've been there, and it was my first 2 scheduled shifts because I had the flu. We get people who call out all the time or NCNS and are somehow still there. I've been told it's because the ETL's aren't notifying HR, but that doesn't hold water to...

    Unrealistic Expectations

We got to the point where we had to force our Brand Attendant to get carts, but that's a tough job for one person on a Saturday afternoon.

    Archived Hardlines closers

We're at the point where they want Seasonal to look great and towels to be folded. Everywhere else, just zoning the end caps. I don't think Baby Hardlines has ever been zoned in the 5 months I've worked there. Household Storage is a free-for-all.

    Archived Hardlines closers

I don't mind pushing, I actually prefer it to zoning, but I can't do both by myself. That's a good idea on talking to them about pushing what's already pulled, I'll do that.

    Archived Hardlines closers

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA We're lucky if items end up in the general area of where it's supposed to go. I feel like half the store is flexed, which is a complete nightmare because the counts are way wrong, but that's another story.

    Archived Hardlines closers

The new thing in my store is to have ONE hardlines TM after 8pm. It seems that zoning doesn't have the priority it used to any more, so we leave with toys, chemicals, and domestics (except towels of course) looking like complete trash. I've been told that openers are now expected to zone, which...

    Archived Against company policy

If it's a letter of recommendation based on their experience of being your TL at Target, it would be a no. Most companies will not allow that as a rule. If it's a letter of recommendation based on their experience of knowing you on a personal level, then yes. They just can't refer to Target in...
