One Sunday night recently. we didn't do any zone, just pulls which were completed as the last announcement went out at 10:00 indicating the store was closed and then did some reshop.... we left the store at 11:30 and had we been required to zone, we would have been there til 1:30 or 2 a.m.

I work in a SuperTarget and we generally have 3 closers in hardlines except for some Sundays when myTime thinks we should only have 2 closers in hardlines... but usually there is a call in somewhere and most nights we have 2 closers in hardlines due to moving folks to grocery etc.... but in all...

At my store for closing, everyone stays until we are all ready to go even the cashiers have to stay to do reshop. I keep telling my LOD's that I wish I could clone myself to be able to handle the pulls, the zone, the reshop, and the kazillion calls for fast service.. it really gets frustrating.

What really sucks is even when myTime has a decent schedule, call ins on the front lanes and the sales floor makes for another day of fast, no fun and not friendly... I just want to turn around and leave when I come in and see more sales floor TM on the lanes for "fast service" than actual...

I am a firm believer that employees who just show up to work on a regular basis are more valuable than those who can conjure up a redcard here and there.

I work in a great store management wise. The ETL's for the most part zone, pull CAFs, etc when needed to get the work done... It is common to see our STL on a lane when the guests are lined up and there aren't enough cashiers due to the ungodly amount of call ins, myTime staffing issues etc...
