    GM TL Routines

Any GM-TLs out there that can tell me their routines that keeps them sane and successful. Gonna be starting again soon and wanted to get a quick run down of what the days are gonna be like...just so we can streamline it a little we can cut out the “don’t do it” “be prepared to be stressed” “all...

    Missing Bullseye

I had an interview with the HRBP yesterday so things are progressing....slowly....but I enjoyed my time with Target, I’m more or less doing it because I loved my time there, and also if I do happen to hate the “new Target” it’ll look good on a resume.

Most a TL can start off

What’s the most you’ve ever known a Team Lead to start off at?

if I'm graduating with a BA in May, when can I apply for ETL positions?

You wouldn’t be able to do the internship because that’s only for undergrads...you’d have to apply for ETL....there are ETL positions opening now for post grads in pretty much every state.

Best way to move up the ladder?

Could have completely changed but out early LOD ETL would come in at 7 and leave around 3or330

    Missing Bullseye

Yikes!!! That’d be nice but not ready for those problems or stress yet....my entire store probably makes as much as RTW/Baby in a high-volume Target.

Also I’m glad to see all these old usernames on here that i feel actually helped me get promoted...literally if not for the break room I would have been lost in my old store 😂

    Missing Bullseye

I’m in an entirely different state...but coincidentally the HRBP of my old district is the HR regional director of where I am now 😅

    Missing Bullseye

So I left Target to become a Store Manager for another company when I was an Extended Executive Intern and I’ve been gone for about 3 yrs or so now....but I’m missing it....how much of a chance would I have to be able to come back and be hired on as an ETL? I have a record of success and awards...

It's a 99% chance....unless you're horrible, that you'll be hired after your internship. After spending so much money on you for the 10 weeks target is basically invested in you.....BUT....unfortunately since you're graduating this may it's too late for you to be in the internship.

    Archived Hours/week for salary TMs

ETLs and up are required to work a "minimum" of 48hrs a week.....but there's no time clock to punch in and out for them sooooooo

    Archived ETL Internship

Tell your STL to get in contact with your districts intern capt. that would be the fastest way to find the job code. Also it's under TAS not JAS if that's where you're looking.

    Archived Becoming a Executive Intern?

There's a clause....the DTL is the final yay or ney....so if ur Exec Team wants to go to bat for you then it's possible. That's what happened for me at least.

Archived New ETL Looking for Advice

I've learned to stop in an area and work alongside the team for a few minutes. Even if it's just 5-15 min I think it's actually improved perception of me. there's ALOT I have to do but those few minutes leave a lasting impression.....plus if you do it by lazy TMs you get to ask the question of...

Archived New ETL Looking for Advice

Completely agree with that part lol. There was an EIT that came to my store for orientation and he thought my ETL-GE was just a TM because she's the youngest out of all the other ETLs (but it's her second store) and when she spoke to him she said he was kind of an asshole. She told my ETL-HR...
