Higher standard is true. Been closing TL for three years. I almost feel like moving up to ETL from Closing TL is impossible.

Closing lead here as well been in role for 3 years. It is definitely starting to feel the expectations are much. We were doing so well then our truck process became broken. Fixing that to get caught up on everything. TBH, I feel like most of the leadership team feels like this.

Oh I have looked. Sadly, pay is pretty good. I can handle the rough nights pretty easy. Freight is ridiculous and I heard it will not be getting better.

Like Plano’s said the questions are the same. Just remember to make your answers as global as possible. I moved from Food & Beverage Leadwe to Closing Lead. My SD at the time had me interview for a Senior Team Lead position when one became available so I could start training for LOD shifts.

I agree! Workbench is great! Also searching of TBR does help a lot. During my time as a TM, I would search information here. Also the Starbucks thread is a life saver when I became TL over Starbucks.

TBH I don’t think Target is for you. ASANT but most of our ETLs will jump on a lane if needed, as well as our SD. As a TL, I have more respect for a leader who will do whatever job is required. I would never ask a TM to do something that I am not willing to do myself.

From what my SD told me, my store does not get any closing experts. That I will have the same people closing on the different night but not actual TMs. Coverage has been spotty. Usually on the Style side. One call out hurts, when you can’t find coverage.
