Hey Everyone!
So I’ve had orientation and one day of training which was just on the computer and then cashier for a couple of hours. I was hired for flexible fufillment so all my shifts next week state that but none are training. My next day back is Sunday. So my question is what the heck do I do after I clock in? Like what next? I haven’t met any ETL or TL from that department yet. I hate walking in and looking like a deer in headlights. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Try to figure out who your team lead and your ETL are, if possible, and see if your workcenter has a captain. If you can’t figure out either of these things, when you go into work, call for the LOD over the walkie, ask for their location and go meet with them and tell them that you need SFS training if they’re not planning that already (they might be!) and they can coordinate it 🙂

You will look like a deer in headlights for a little bit. When you are picking try to remember the layout of the store and take different routes to the backroom it will help to remember where things are. It may be confusing and frustrating at first but it will become easier. The backroom and sales floor people were a blessing to me when i needed help. Dont be afraid to ask questions and get some decent walking shoes, your feet will hurt for a few weeks. The most challenging to find is clothing, shoes and accessories because it's always changing.
