I was scheduled 3 hours, but they cut me to 2. I already worked the shift. Did I need to say something about the 3 hour minimum or will I automatically be paid for 3 hours? Second one doesn't seem likely, but thought I'd check.

Getting paid for hours you didn't work? At Target out of all places? Nope.
I could be wrong.

You can always try getting hours from the swap board!

Konk is right...if they send you home, they still have to pay you for a minimum of three hours. If you go home on your own accord under the three hour mark, they don't have to pay you. How that works from making sure they actually pay you, I'm not sure.

It get complicated, usually the three hour rule is if they send you home because there is a snow storm or some such event that makes it impossible to work your shift.
So they pay you for three hours of your shift.
If they ask you to go home then they pay you for what you worked.
Now you have the right to to stay for three hours.
If you want to be cranky, you can say I would like to work out my three hours because that is a base shift.
It just won't make you popular, not that standing up for yourself ever does at a place like Spot.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like being sent home early on any shift. I'm making up my hours this week.
